Sinterklaas in Oirschot

Information about the most wonderful period of the year!

For as long as we can remember, Sinterklaas has been visiting Oirschot every year. Along
with a festive company, a lot of presents, pleasant music and the tastiest
sweets, nothing is too crazy for Sinterklaas. This year, Sinterklaas will
arrive in Oirschot on Saturday 15 November.

The programme for the arrival

Sinterklaas will arrive at the Standaardplein at approximately 4:00 p.m. this year. After his arrival, the company will spread along the entire route. This means that the programme will start immediately at all locations. In this way, we hope to create an atmospheric arrival and avoid larger crowds.

This is the route:
The arrival starts at the Standaardplein and will continue through Molenstraat and the Markt. Note: the festivities of this arrival will not pass by the bit chair or the Dekanijstraat.

The programme:
4:00 p.m. – Warming up at Standaardplein
4:30 p.m. – Arrival of Sinterklaas and his Pieten
4:30 p.m. – Start of arrival festivities
6:00 p.m. – Start programm Basiliek
6:45 p.m. – End of the show

Dress up as one of the ‘Pieten’ and find a good spot along the route!

Theatre shows

Every year, we also organise nine theatre shows which will be performed during the weekend before December 5^th. This year the shows will take place on Friday 28 November, Saturday 29 November and Sunday 30 November. For tickets and additional information, please visit www.sinterklaastheateroirschot.nl. Visit the lodging house: The smallest house

Sinterklaas also has a lodging address. This year, he will be allowed to stay in the smallest house of Oirschot From 15 November until 30 November, you are welcome to peek through the windows or leave a letter in the letterbox there. The address is Kapelpad in Oirschot.
